Alphonsi to hold testimonial day
Saracens and England legend Maggie Alphonsi will be holding a testimonial day at Saracens spiritual home, Bramley Road.
Capped 71 times for England Alphonsi, during a magnificent career that has included World Cup glory, the 31-year old is stepping away from rugby to focus on athletics and hopes to represent Great Britain in the shot put at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Her dedication and inspiration during her 17-year affiliation with Saracens is stuff of legend, whilst her committed style of play in the white of England won her nickname of ‘The Machine’.
The event is happening on Saturday 18th July 2015 at Saracens Amateurs RFC, Bramley Road. With past and present Saracens players along with other clubs to taking part in a touch tournament followed by a presentation to honour Maggie’s services to the club.
Team entry - £150 for 10 players (includes entry fee, BBQ and team playing shirt).
If you would like to enter as an individual, contact us and we will put you into a team with current players.
Team registration 10.00 with games to kick off at 10.30. Changing and shower facilities will be available.
