Excitement builds as Blue Bulls name side
Blue Bulls have named their side to face Saracens in Saturday's Sanlam Challenge clash at Allianz Park, kick-off 15h15.
A side littered with Springbok internationals will face Saracens' strongest possible team at the weekend as the North and South rugby powerhouses collide in the heart of north London,
With intriguing match-ups across the field, it promises to be a contest to remember as the Pride of Pretoria ride into town to face the Premiership League winners.
Flanker Deon Stegmann will lead the Blue Bulls out on Saturday afternoon, with star No.8 Pierre Spies, who has been named captain for the season, making his return from a lengthy injury lay-off when he plays of the bench at Allianz Park. It will be Spies' first match since he tore his pectoral muscle in February last year.
"We are keen for a competitive outing that will test our combinations selected for this match," Bulls coach Frans Ludeke said.
"We will be looking to give a number of subs some game time, but we'll also be aware that momentum will be important during the match."
