Bosch looking forward to home comforts
Argentine centre Marcelo Bosch says he is itching to get started at Saracens, when the 29 year-old makes his home debut this Sunday against Newcastle Falcons, kick-off 15h00.
“I’ll try my best not to be too nervous, because I want to enjoy the game and give the best of me to the team” revealed Bosch.
“I’m looking forward to playing at Allianz Park. I’ve never played there and all the boys have been saying how great it is, so I’m looking forward to make my full debut in front of the Saracens fans at our home ground - I can't wait!"
Bosch’s inclusion in the Saracens starting XV this weekend is one of four changes in the back line as Mark McCall chooses to rotate the squad for Sunday’s clash with the Falcons.
Bosch replaces Duncan Taylor at centre, with Chris Wyles moving to 12 to accommodate the former Biarritz midfielder.
Neil de Kock rotates with Richard Wigglesworth at scrum-half and he is partnered by Premiership Hall of Famer Charlie Hodgson in the halves – and the Premiership’s all time points scorer says he is looking forward to playing alongside Saracens new recruit.
“Obviously it’s still early days for Marcelo; he was here for a few days then he was straight into the squad but he’s settled into the squad very easily” Hodgson said.
“He very easy guy to get on with; it’s obvious that he’s a very talented rugby player and I don’t think we’ve seen quite what he’s capable of yet.
Hodgson added; "He’s only been here for such a short time , but I’m really looking forward to getting on the pitch with him this weekend and throughout the season.”
