Saracens return to Bramley Road for Worcester
Saracens can confirm that they will be returning to Bramley Road to face Worcester Warriors on Saturday 3rd October.
Saracens former home from 1939-1996 will play host to the pre-season clash on an action packed day of rugby in Southgate, London, with the game between the sides kicking off at 13h00.
Speaking about the club’s return to Bramley Road, Saracens Chairman Nigel Wray said: “It is almost 20 years ago now that professional rugby was born and for Saracens it was born at Bramley Road. So it’s great to be back there for the Worcester game. Hopefully the day can cement ties between the professional club and the Saracens Amateur side at Bramley Road."
He added: “We hope that Saracens fans will enjoy what promises to be a special day for the club.”
Saracens begin their pre-season schedule against Ospreys on Thursday evening at the HAC in Moorgate. Mark McCall’s side will then take on Northampton Saints at Allianz Park on Saturday 26th September before they face the newly promoted Warriors at Bramley Road on 3rd October. The Aviva Premiership Champions conclude their preseason away to French side Aurillac on Friday 9th October.
