Burger relishing Tigers trip
Openside flanker Jacques Burger is back in action for Saracens this weekend, to face Leicester Tigers in round seven of the Aviva Premiership.
The Namibian international starts alongside Kelly Brown and Jackson Wray in the Saracens back-row and the tough tackling flanker is expecting a tough contest at Welford Road on Sunday afternoon - a challenge he says the Saracens squad will be relishing.
Burger said; “It’s going to be a really tough game on Sunday. We know the dangers Leicester possess, and they’re a really good side. I don’t think they’ll be happy with the start of the season they’ve had so they’ll really up for Sunday.
“They have a fantastic record at home, and a large, passionate crowd who get right behind them and give them a lot of energy. Playing them away from home is always a difficult challenge and it is one we are all looking forward to. We’ve had a great week in training and we are all looking forward to getting out there this weekend.
Burger added; “It’s great to be back in a Saracens shirt again. I had a really enjoyable period with Namibia, but to be facing the Tigers at Welford Road, these are the types of games we all relish.”
