May

Saracens is delighted to confirm that three more members of the Premier 15s winning squad have signed new deals for the 2022/23 season.

May Campbell, Kelsey Clifford and Fiona McIntosh, who all started the final against Exeter Chiefs at Sixways were instrumental throughout the year and will continue to have a huge impact at StoneX moving forward.

All key pillars in the set-piece, the lineout and scrum were huge factors in the success, and a large part of that was down to the contribution of these three who will be running out in North London for another year.

Head Coach Alex Austerberry is thrilled to have three more players signed up for the new season.

“May had a fantastic season last year backing up and continuing to improve on her great form of recent years. May has a massive impact on games and significant involvements. Her game is growing from strength to strength and I am sure the best is yet to come.

Kelsey is developing in to a fantastic front row forward. A great carrying capacity and subtle handling skills, Kelsey made significant strides forward in her development last season and contributed to a fantastic season. We are delighted that Kelsey will continue to develop here at Saracens

Fi really broke through and established herself in the team last season after an injury hit first season at the club. Mobile around the park and with a deep understanding of the set-piece, Fi has developed in to great leader and character within the group.”

MATCH PREVIEW | Saracens Mavericks vs Team Bath (NSL Rd 11)

Centre Indya Masser is looking for her side to respond after a tough few weeks of away matches.
