De Jager signs for Blue Bulls
Saracens loose forward Nick de Jager has left the club to join Currie Cup side, Blue Bulls.
The South African flanker who played vital role in Saracens’ victorious LV=Cup and A-League campaigns last season, will link up with the Pretorian outfit with immediate effect after two seasons at Allianz Park.
Saracens director of rugby, Mark McCall: “Nick has a great opportunity to return home to play for one of South Africa’s premier sides, and he leaves with our best wishes. Since he arrived in 2013 he has played a key role in our LV=Cup and A League teams and has made a real contribution both on and off the field. We wish him all the best for the future.”
De Jager made 11 appearances for the north Londoners since making his Saracens debut against Newcastle Falcons in November 2013.
