Do You Love to Dance?
The Love to Dance Programme launched 5 years ago and in February 2014, moved to Barnet. This saw the programme expanding to include the Love to Move Programme, which includes a range of different activities for over 50's. With both programmes becoming more and more popular, we now have over 250 participants in Hertfordshire and over 100 participants in Barnet on a weekly basis.
The Love to Dance class held at Allianz Park has 20 regular participants, many of whom also take part in Pilates classes and/or Nordic Walking sessions at Allianz Park too. The participants are working towards their performance at the Love to Dance Christmas Party on the 4th December at Allianz Park, where 250 participants from across 22 over 50's Love to Dance classes in both Barnet and Hertfordshire will perform their own routines, and have a brilliant celebration to end the year.
Participants are also looking forward to performing again at a Saracens home game at Allianz Park. The 3rd of January sees our dancers take to the pitch at half time once again and after the great feedback from last season, we cannot wait to have them back and they cannot wait to get out there again!
One participant taking part in a Love to Dance class at Allianz Park said "The class introduced me to a new social circle, giving me confidence and a reason to smile again. The venue is so beautiful, the view lightens your spirit and brightens the rainy days’.
