'Every fan brings a can' this Saturday
Those attending this weekend’s crunch clash against the Leicester Tigers on Saturday afternoon are encouraged to bring any non-perishable food they can for the Colindale food bank who will be collecting at the game.
Douglas Pollyn of the Colindale food bank said; “The Christmas season is the most difficult for struggling families because of the weather and associated increases in living costs.
"Demand for our help has risen by almost 70% in the last 3 months- some families with paying jobs still rely on our help because of the increase in living costs. In the last 9 months we have given over 8 tonnes of food to over 300 families with an average of 3 people in each family so any help is much appreciated".
Representatives of the food bank will be situated at each gate of Allianz Park on Saturday and fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable foods to the game. Please give generously to a great cause.
