The Spring into Action project uses trampolining to engage with traditional non sporty children who have shyed away from team sports.
The pilot project, ran from September 2014 offering coaching in curriculum and extra curriculum time, with a Primary School acting as a local hub site for a whole year. We worked with participants across all years to increase flexibility, coordination and balance, alongside trampolining skills.
An SEN class ran weekly which provided strength, conditioning and above all fun for participants with Cerebral Palsy, Dyspraxia and Autism. In 2015/16 we plan to extend this model of work to a further 3 venues, using a similar model of school to community club participation in line with the successful School of Cheer’s.
