Global Weekend Round-up
Timisoara Saracens started their pre-season campaign with a win, while Impala Saracens won the Eric Shirley Shield. Here’s the weekend review:
Abu Dhabi Saracens
Doha’s win against Jebel Ali Dragons means Sarries will be heading to the Qatari capital for West Asia Cup final this Friday.
Impala Saracens II beat KCB Cubs 29-10 in the Eric Shirley Shield final. The win sees Saracens end the season on a high, in what was the club’s last game of the campaign.
Kuala Lumpur Saracens
KL Saracens' match against 6 Ranger in the Liga KRS was postponed, with a later date yet to be announced. KL Saracens are in great form this year and remain unbeaten in 2015.
Lelo Saracens, Tbilisi
Lelo Saracens were not in action over the weekend. They face RC Locomotive Tblisi in their next league game on March 28th.
Moscow Saracens are in pre-season preparing for the Russian Professional Rugby League.
Sao Paulo Saracens
Sao Paulo Saracens won three and lost three in the Brazil Super Sevens this weekend. Saracens ended the tournament in mid-table. The Brazil Super Sevens sees the strongest rugby clubs in Brazil compete for the national title.
Seattle Saracens won their match against Central Washington University 38-20. The friendly was the last of two between the sides, with Saracens winning the first 45-14 the previous weekend.
Timisoara Saracens comfortably won their friendly against U Cluj Rugby 38-21 as they continue their preparation for the start of the new season next month.
Toa Saracens are in pre-season, preparing for the Tongan Premier Division.
