Goode wins Players' Player award
Full-back Alex Goode picked up the Richard Hill Players' Player of the Year award last night at the Saracens annual awards dinner at The Brewery in the heart of The City of London.
The club paid tribute to the contribution of the players in what has been a highly successful season both on and off the pitch.
Billy Vunipola another winner on the night, the bulldozing England back-rower picked up the Saracens Young Player of the Season award in his first season with the club.
In other awards, Mouritz Botha picked up the Hit of the Season prize, with his monstrous smash on The Sharks' Jean Deysel in January being voted the best tackle of the season.
Chris Ashton won two awards on the night, with his first of two tries against Ulster in the Heineken Cup quarter-final being voted the 'Try of the Season', and the England winger shared the inaugural Celebration of the Season gong with hooker Jamie George.
George would another award, picking up the Peter Deakin Community Player of the Season honour for the second successive year for his inspiring work with the Saracens Sport Foundation.
