'Intensity' will be key says skipper Hargreaves
Alistair Hargreaves is predicting another tough examination this weekend, when his Saracens side face Sale Sharks at the AJ Bell Stadium on Saturday.
Saracens will be facing the North West side for the fourth time this season, with the two teams having met in both the Aviva Premiership and the European Champions Cup during the 2014/15 domestic and European campaigns.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s round 15 Premiership clash, Hargreaves said: “We’ve had some really tough games against the Sharks this year, of that there is no doubt. They’ve really pushed us to the limit in those games, they are a really strong side and they're well placed for a finals spot. The fact that they have played well against us this year makes us aware that we will have to be at our best if we are going to come away from the AJ Bell Stadium with a result.
“We’re going to have to raise the intensity this weekend. There’s about ten games left of the regular season, we are going to have to try to raise our intensity every weekend and we’re certainly going to try and do that on Saturday.”
The Saracens skipper added: “I think we can make improvements from last weekend, we are going to need some big performances and a lot of intent from 1-23.”
