Saracens have an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail manager to join the team as the Retail Operations Manager. The role will require the candidate to lead a team in driving incremental revenue through diverse marketing strategies, effective stock management, buying and merchandising and staff management. Reporting into Head of Retail, you will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders including subject matter experts and the senior leadership team to ensure the retail programme is delivered on time, on budget and on brief.
Principal accountabilities include but not limited to: maximise sales and to achieve long term growth of the business through effective strategic planning; working with the customer and understanding retail trends; delivering an excellent service at all times; minimising loss by proactively and constantly seeking opportunities and to maximise profitability; understanding the legalities in relation to cash handling, security, theft and fraud; training, developing and motivating staff in all aspects of retail, sales and cash handling.
The Retail Operations Manager will also maintain an excellent relationship with all departments in the Club and ensure all administration and co-ordination is accomplished effectively and accurately.
As well as always delivering customer service to the highest level to all stakeholders, the manager will also work closely with the marketing team to allow for successful launch and promotion of all new lines or seasonal products.

This is a full time role with working hours of 37.5 hours a week. The role will be based our stadium at Allianz Park. There will be an expectation to work match days as part of the role and some weekend work when the need arises.
