Joubert 'chuffed' with win as Sarries head to Galway

Saracens No.8 Ernst Joubert said he was “chuffed” with the win against London Wasps, as much changed Saracens side beat their London rivals to go six points clear at the top of the Premiership table.

“I don’t think that we were at our best” said Joubert who captained the side in the absence of Steve Borthwick.

“Luckily it was one those games where we might not have played our best rugby but we still came away with the win. We have things that we can work on going into next week – we made a lot of unforced errors but all in all I’m chuffed with the boys that pulled through a got the win.

He added “Our attention is now solely on Connacht on Friday in what is a really tough opening fixture for us in the Heineken Cup. Galway on a Friday night is a notoriously hard place to go so we know we will have to be up for the challenge.”
