Saracens vs Harlequins is one of the hottest rivalries in English rugby and it’s coming to Allianz Park!

The London derby is back at NW4 for the first time in two years after head-to-heads at London Stadium and Twickenham Stoop.

This time the two teams face each other in the Premiership Rugby Cup a week before the start of the Gallagher Premiership campaign.

Sarries won all three of their encounters over Quins in 2018/19, securing a 32-12 victory away from home in the Prem Cup to progress to the semi-finals.

Academy fly-half Manu Vunipola made his senior debut that day and more young talent to be on show this time around.

Sixteen of Saracens’ match day 23 for last season’s Prem Rugby Cup match at Quins were Academy products.

“I’ve been talking about this match for a couple of months; I’m really excited!” – Josh Ibuanokpe

Academy hooker Kapeli Pifeleti will make his first Saracens start this weekend when Harlequins visit Allianz Park in the Premiership Rugby Cup.

The USA international has featured three times in the tournament so far, with all his appearances coming as a replacement.

Pifeleti is one of four changes to the pack that started the win at Northampton Saints last weekend.

Lock Nick Isiekwe is promoted to the boiler alongside Will Skelton while Calum Clark and Ben Earl return to the back row to partner Number 8 Jackson Wray.

Captain Brad Barritt edges closer to 250 matches for the club on his maiden outing of 2019/20 and Alex Goode is back in the XV following a period on the sidelines with a foot injury.

The final alteration in the backline sees Ben Spencer slot in at scrum-half after impressing at Franklin’s Gardens.
