THE FINAL HOME TP15s GAME OF THE YEAR

  • Zoe Harrison to start at fly-half
  • Saracens Women aiming to end the year unbeaten at Allianz Park
  • DMP Sharks currently sit 7th in the table on 15 points

“It’ll be nice to get back to our home ground for one last time this year”

Zoe Harrison makes her first start of the season at fly-half as Saracens Women make six changes to the starting line-up for DMP Sharks’ visit to Allianz Park on Saturday 7 December.

Harrison forms a new halfback pairing alongside Eloise Hayward with Lisa Martin shifting to inside centre.

Hannah Casey retains her place at 13 while there are positional changes for captain Lotte Clapp and Rachel Laqeretabua. The former moves to fullback with Sarah McKenna being rested this weekend while the latter shifts from right to left wing with Georgie Lingham coming into the starting XV.

Alex Ellis and May Campbell join Hannah Botterman in the front row with Rocky Clark and Mackenzie Carson moving onto the bench.

Sonia Green partners Rosie Galligan at second row for the first time since the opening round against Bristol Bears Women.

Kat Evan makes her first start since the away win to Loughborough Lightning as she comes in for Marlie Packer in the backrow.

Jeani Layola returns to the matchday squad after missing last week’s win over Wasps FC Ladies. Anna Goddard, Cara Wardle and Nina Vistisen also come onto the bench after impressing for the Dev team.

The home team haven’t lost a game at Allianz Park this year, and will be looking to keep that record intact this weekend against the current seventh place team in the league.

Saracens won both matches against DMP last season with a combined total of 120 points, without conceding any in reply.

The visitors from the north-east have wins over Firwood Waterloo Ladies, Richmond FC and Worcester Warriors Women so far this season and can call upon the likes of the experienced Tamara Taylor, current England international Heather Kerr and Scotland international Lisa Thomson.

Both teams returned to Tyrrells Premier 15s action last weekend with contrasting fortunes. Saracens won away to London rivals Wasps FC Ladies, 32 – 21 while DMP lost 60 – 12 to Gloucester-Hartpury Women.
