Cara Wardle comes in at inside centre as Saracens Women make three changes to the starting line-up that makes the trip north to Firwood Waterloo Ladies on Saturday 19 October.

Wardle partners Hannah Casey in midfield with Chantelle Miell being rested after picking up a knock in last Sunday’s 55 – 3 win over Worcester Warriors Women.

Mackenzie Carson shifts from the backrow to hooker, packing down alongside Rocky Clark and Hannah Botterman in the front row.

Lauren Newman takes her place on the blindside of the scrum with May Campbell moving onto the bench.

There are also two changes on the bench with Jeani Layola and Kate Skelton coming in for Donna Rose and Vicky Fleetwood respectively, the England flanker being rested for this weekend’s fixture.

Sonia Green and Molly Morrissey continue their pairing in the second row while Jade Knight and Lisa Martin will have another opportunity to link up at scrum-half and fly-half respectively.

The back three trio of Sarah McKenna, Rachel Laqeretabua and Lotte Clapp start alongside each other for the fourth time this season.

Saracens Women travelled to the Merseyside for the opening game of last season’s Tyrrells Premier 15s, winning 5 – 38.

The home team go into this Saturday’s game off the back of a 91 – 10 loss to Loughborough Lightning and will be aiming to get their first win of the season.
