Liam Williams scored a hat-trick on Bristol’s last visit to Allianz Park.
Saracens welcome Bristol Bears to Allianz Park for the club’s pre-Christmas fixture and final home match of 2019.
The Men in Black have enjoyed success against the West Country outfit in their past six home fixtures, dating back to March 2007.
The following season (2007/08) was when Sarries last tasted defeat in their last home game of a calendar year. Since then the north Londoners have won all 11 matches, averaging 34 points scored per fixture.
Backline duo Owen Farrell and Alex Goode have both scored 21 points apiece against Bristol over the years, while Liam Williams and Alex Lozowski aren’t far behind with 15 and 14 respectively.
Of the current squad, Billy Vunipola, Ralph Adams-Hale, Matt Gallagher and Tom Whiteley have also scored tries vs the Bears – the latter dotting down on his first Premiership start at Ashton Gate back in March.
It’s the final time before Christmas to celebrate the festive season with the players, staff and fellow supporters so it’s not one to miss!
Maro Itoje returns to the starting XV for Saracens’ Round 6 clash against Bristol Bears in the Gallagher Premiership.
The England international was absent for the Men in Black’s win over Munster in the Heineken Champions Cup last time out, a match day squad which saw 20 English-qualified players named.
Itoje is the only change in the pack meaning 21-year-old duo Nick Isiekwe and Ben Earl retain their place in the back row alongside Billy Vunipola.
An alteration at nine sees Ben Spencer reinstated to partner Owen Farrell in the half-back slot while Brad Barritt is back to form a midfield with Nick Tompkins.
Max Malins, who featured in Europe from the start for the first time last Saturday, remains at full-back after impressing in the backfield.
Prop Rhys Carre is set for his first Premiership outing since joining Saracens from Cardiff Blues in the summer.
