Ben Earl to captain England U20s for Six Nations opener


England U20s have named their starting XV to take on Italy in the opening match of the 2018 Six Nations, with Saracens’ Ben Earl selected in the squad.

Earl starts at 7 and will captain the side for the game which will be played at Stadio Enzo Bearzot, Gorizia on Friday (kick-off 18H00 GMT).

The side includes eight members of the squad that finished as runners up at the World Rugby U20 Championship last summer. Earl was also a part of this side. 

Joining Earl in the back row are two England U20 debutants – Sam Moore (Sale Sharks) and Tom Willis (Wasps). They are among seven players making their debuts at U20 level with five more set to win their first cap off the bench.
