Business Club Members Enjoy First Event of the Season
In the week prior to Christmas, Saracens held their first Business Club event of the season at Wolfpack in Queens Park.
The event brought together members of the Business Club from within the Saracens Family to celebrate the festive period and the strong start to the season on the field, as well as network and explore business opportunities from within the group.
Owners of Wolfpack, former Saracens Internationals Alistair Hargreaves & Chris Wyles hosted the evening during which Saracens Chairman, Nigel Wray, spoke about the relationships he has built through Saracens, and the correlations he has discovered between professional sport and business that have resulted in real benefits to Saracens and other industries in which he has been involved.
Guests were also joined by Saracens players Maro Itoje and Joe Gray who explained how the club have supported their business interests and just how important it is for them to build for their lives after rugby by developing business networks of their own.
Tim Hunt, CEO of Premier Team Promotions overseeing Saracens commercial operations, commented “It has been superb to kick off the Saracens Business Club officially at Wolfpack, a business grown out of relationships formed from rugby. Our Business Club concept is based on the principle that we can further support businesses within the Saracens Family by using a shared interest in the club as a vehicle for growth. We have been delighted in the support for the venture thus far and look forward to many more successful events and growing the club for the benefits of our members”.
