How we bounce back is important - Lozowski
Defeat is something Saracens have not tasted often in 2018 but when they have the response has been impressive.
Prior to Saturday’s loss at Exeter Chiefs, Sarries last loss in all competitions was the Heineken Champions Cup exit in April and a week later began the 22-match unbeaten which ended at Sandy Park eight months later.
The Men in Black return to Allianz Park on Saturday to face Worcester Warriors in the Gallagher Premiership and centre Alex Lozowski insists the squad’s response to the Chiefs result is important.
“It’s not a nice feeling; it’s never nice when you suffer a defeat,” he said,
“It was a disappointing result, but hopefully it can be the catalyst for a positive second half of the season.
“How we bounce back is important. All our energy in training this week will go towards putting in an improved performance against Worcester.
“It’ll be nice to finish the year back at Allianz Park and hopefully end 2018 on a high with our supporters.”
