I lost the plot when I scored! - Lozowski
Alex Lozowski predicted it was going to be ‘fun’ when Wasps visited Allianz Park for the Aviva Premiership semi-final and everyone associated with Saracens would agree it was.
The 24-year-old trotted under the posts to open the scoring against his former club, giving a little fist pump as he did so, in a game which saw a total of 90 points – the highest amount for any play-off game.
It was a great show of attacking rugby and now England man Lozowski is relishing the final against Exeter Chiefs.
“It was nice to score in front of our home crowd,” he told Sarries TV.
“I lost the plot a bit when I scored which is a bit embarrassing! It was nice to go over in a win.
“It was a tough game. Wasps were their usual selves, very threatening on the ball and caused us some problems.
“We have things to work on defensively for next week but overall we’re really happy.
“The attack is going really well. We’re causing teams problems, finding space, we’re really physical and direct which is really good.
“We’ll enjoy the win but get back to training Monday and look forward to the final.”
