I’m hungry for more - George
Jamie George can’t wait to get going with Saracens following 10 weeks away with England during the Six Nations period.
The 27-year-old is one of eight returning internationals ahead of what is set to be a gripping couple of weeks.
Sarries take on London rivals Harlequins this weekend at a sold-out London Stadium before travelling to Dublin to take on Leinster in the European Champions Cup quarter-finals eight days later.
Now fully focused on club duties, George is relishing the opportunity to play in the upcoming contests.
He told Saracens.com: “It’s always a bit weird coming back but it’s great to come back into an environment like this; we’re very lucky to be coming back into such a positive environment.
“You can definitely tell they’re happy to see us and we’re happy to see them. It’s good, it’s exciting and we’ve obviously got a big run of games coming up so that’s something to really look forward to and get our teeth stuck into.”
He continued: “I didn’t play as many minutes as perhaps a few of the other guys did during the Six Nations period so I don’t feel too fatigued.
“I’m just ready to get stuck back into it – I’m hungry for more.”
