International round-up: Williams on winning side of Wales vs England

Liam Williams’ Wales came out on top against England who had four Saracens in their starting XV.

The 27-year-old lined up at full-back for Warren Gatland’s side and went toe-to-toe with club teammates Owen Farrell, Jamie George, George Kruis and Billy Vunipola.

Farrell converted Tom Curry’s try and two penalties before Williams was named man of the match for his display in the 21-13 triumph.

England Under-20s also went down against their Welsh counterparts, a game in which Joel Kpoku started. Manu Vunipola made his 20s debut from the bench.

Elsewhere, Sean Maitland completed 65 minutes in Scotland’s loss to France.
