Rugby Partnerships Manager (Clubs & Schools Relationships)

Saracens are looking to recruit a Rugby Partnerships Manager (Clubs & Schools Relationships). The Rugby Partnerships Manager (Clubs & Schools Relationships) is incredibly important to the overall success of the team.  Working within a team of 3 within the Community Partnerships department, the post is hugely integral in the success of the Rugby Development operations.  The post holder will work collaboratively and inclusively with others ensuring that the relationships between Saracens and our Partner Clubs & Schools continue to flourish. In doing so the post holder will further nurture positive relationships with stakeholders across our rugby community, help grow the clubs part-time coaching workforce and build capacity within Saracens community rugby operations.   The successful individual will be relentlessly positive in attitude towards clubs, schools and other external stakeholders and deliver an unparalleled level of service, ensuring that the Saracens values of Honesty, Discipline, Work Rate and Humility is entrenched in everything they do.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • To take overall responsibility for Saracens relationship management of all Partner Clubs and Schools
  • Work with community sales and marketing teams to ensure communication is aligned to these stakeholders to support commercial growth in this area
  • Manage and fulfil Partner Club Loyalty programme
  • Grow new Saracens Partner Schools programme and deliver contractual rights to these schools
  • Manage and deliver our Schools Coaching programme throughout season and look for opportunities to grow our input into schools rugby Core Rugby Partnership deliverables:
  • Support on Matchday festival and activation operations
  • Deliver Coach Education sessions across our Schools and Clubs network.
  • Plan and deliver specific Rugby Camps, designated by Camps Manager
  • Work with Community Sales team to identify commercial growth opportunities within our network
  • Identify opportunities for personal development in own role
  • Identify opportunities to develop rugby development reach

This role is fulltime (37.5 hours per week) and will be based at Allianz Park.

Salary: Competitive

The Rugby Partnerships Manager (Coach Education & Workforce Development) is incredibly important to the overall success of the team.  Working within the Community Partnerships department, the post holder will work collaboratively to deliver a programme of Saracens Coach Education across the clubs extensive Partner Clubs and Schools to share Saracens best practice and support the development of coaches across our community. In doing so the post holder will further nurture positive relationships with stakeholders across our rugby community, help grow the clubs part-time coaching workforce and build capacity within Saracens community rugby operations.   The successful individual will be relentlessly positive in attitude towards clubs, schools and other external stakeholders and deliver an unparalleled level of service, ensuring that the Saracens values of Honesty, Discipline, Work Rate and Humility is entrenched in everything they do.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • To take overall responsibility for the Coach Education progression across the clubs and school’s network
  • Work with Academy staff to develop a Coach Education programme that underpins the pathway for coach development
  • Plan & deliver Coach Education Masterclass events at Allianz Park
  • Grow Saracens Part-time workforce across the South East and beyond, to support all Rugby Development activity.

Core Rugby Partnership deliverables:

  • Support club and school partnership development underpinning the departments commercial strategy
  • Plan and deliver specific Rugby Camps, designated by the Camps Manager
  • Identify opportunities for personal development in own role
  • Identify opportunities to develop rugby development reach
