Judge returns to Cornish Pirates

Christian Judge has returned to Cornish Pirates following the completion of his loan spell at Saracens.

The 25-year-old has made a great impact at Allianz Park after joining on a short-term deal in September, proving extremely popular among fans and teammates alike.

A lover of the scrum, the prop made his Gallagher Premiership debut for Sarries and scored an impressive try on his first European outing against Cardiff Blues in December.

In total, Judge made 12 appearances in all competitions for the club.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everybody at Saracens for what has been an amazing few months at the club," he said.

“From day one everybody has been hugely supportive and I feel truly honoured to have been given this opportunity.

“It’s been an unforgettable experience and I’ve loved every minute. I’d also like to say a special thanks to the fans for all of their support over the last few months, they’ve been amazing!”

Director of Rugby Mark McCall added: “We would like to thank Christian for his amazing contribution during his short stay at the club.

“On the field he worked incredibly hard at his game and played to a high level every opportunity he got. Off the field he fitted in really well and leaves with the respect of staff and players alike.

“Obviously we wish him the best for the future and would like to thank Cornish Pirates for their cooperation during his loan spell.”

Everyone at Saracens would like to wish Christian all the best for the future.
