L2D Takes on London Stadium!
On Saturday 24th March 2018, participants from our Love to Dance programme graced pitch side when Saracens played their first game against Harlequins at the iconic London stadium.
This was our first time performing at London Stadium where we had over 140 over 50s swinging and swaying, twisting and twirling to the Oasis hit song ‘Wonder Wall' and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Can’t stop the feeling’ sang by the incredible Stage Coach Performing Arts School. This opportunity was a fantastic way for us to show the spectators just one of the many programmes we run for older adults here at Saracens Sport Foundation.
We now have 28 Love to Dance classes running across Hertfordshire and North London. The participants started practising their routines for last weekend in their weekly classes months before the big day so a lot of hard work went into perfecting the routines and all participantt's looked fabulous on Saturday.
Maureen, a participant at our Potters Bar class said "What a wonderful day on Saturday! Everything turned out great! You [Saracens Sport Foundation] worked so hard on such a busy day."
Well done to all of the participant's involved!
