Lots to work on - Lozowski

Alex Lozowski says there is plenty for Saracens to improve on ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Northampton Saints.

The Men in Black suffered defeat at Gloucester last Friday, but managed to secure a losing bonus point courtesy of two late tries.

Outside centre Lozowski’s superb touchline conversion that followed Matt Gallagher’s score kept Sarries’ chances of finishing within seven of the Cherry & Whites alive before he added the extras to a Jackson Wray effort to ensure Mark McCall’s men didn’t leave Kingsholm empty handed.

“It’s nice to be able to get that bonus point; the positive from that is we stuck at it,” Lozowski said.

“It showed good fight and good spirit from the boys to stick at it for the full 80 and come away with something.”

Lozowski continued: “We know we weren’t really there; we didn’t get our basics right and I think Gloucester fully deserve their win.

“We didn’t pin our game together very well, probably got outmuscled a little bit.

“Gloucester played a really physical game which we couldn’t really keep up with so lots to work on for next week.”
