Maitland on the wing for Scotland

Saracens’ Sean Maitland will start on the left wing for Scotland against Ireland in the Six Nations on Saturday.

The winger retains his place in Gregor Townsend’s XV after helping the Scots record their first Calcutta Cup success for 10 years last time out.

Scotland have won just six games in the tournament’s history on the road and Maitland says his side are expecting a tough encounter despite heading to Dublin in high spirits.

"We can take a lot of confidence from the last game, but we know it's a different beast," he told Sky Sports.

"We're working hard. We know the challenge ahead and we need to up every aspect of our game."
