Malins salvages draw for Storm

A last gasp Tim Streather score salvaged a 22-22 draw for Saracens Storm in today’s A League clash away to Harlequins A at The Stoop.

Despite trailing 22-3 at the break, the Storm fought back with tries from wing Perkins, No8 Samu Vunisa and Streather with outside half Max Malins showing nerves of steel to land an 80th minute touchline conversion.

Malins, on his first outing in the A League this season after recovering from shoulder surgery kicked Saracens only points of the first half.  Harlequins raced into a 22-3 lead through tries from Ibitoye, Mulchrone and Reddish, with former Saracens man Aaron Morris adding seven points from the tee.
