Match Preview: Anglo-Welsh Cup
The first knock out game of the season takes places at Allianz Park on Saturday as Saracens face Leicester Tigers in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
With three wins and a loss to their name in the group stages Leicester qualified in fourth place for the semi finals courtesy of a lower bonus point tally than the other qualifying sides. The Tigers have been on good form in the Anglo-Welsh so far this season, with only Saracens able to claim a victory against them.
Last Time Out
Saracens and Leicester have met already this season the Anglo-Welsh Cup, going head to head in the last round of the groups stages at Allianz Park. Named as Leicester’s player of the month in February back rower Hamilton has featured in all four of Leicester’s Anglo-Welsh fixtures so far this season, scoring two tries in the process. Known for his ball carrying skills 25 year old Hamilton is joint fourth on the carries made list for the Cup this season.
