Saracens Academy stars set for international action
Five Saracens Academy players will be involved in international action this weekend, for both England U18s and England U20s teams.
England U20s face Ireland at Kingston Park (kick off 6.05pm, live on Sky Sports 3) on Friday evening, and promising full-back Max Malins will continue at full-back for John Callard’s side after a try scoring debut against Italy a fortnight ago. The 19-year-old Acadmey starlet started for his country in their U20 Six Nations clash with Italy at the weekend, helping England to a 42-7 win in Venice.
Alongside Malins will be George Perkins. The Saracens wing who has been on loan with Bedford Blues this season was a key member of the England U20s side who finished runners up in the 2015 U20s World Championship.
On Saturday, U18s trio of Jack Nay, Nick Isiekwe and Ben Earl have been named in the England U18s squad to face France on Saturday, kick-off 13h30.
Lock forward Isiekwe and loose forwards Nay and Earl have sll impressed for Saracens in this seasons U18s campaign and are both tipped to shine in England colours by Saracens Academy Manager Don Barrell.
“Jack, Nick and Ben have been superb this season for the U18s and it’s great to see that both have the chance to test themselves on the international circuit," said Barrell. "It’s always a pleasing moment to see our players represent their country at any level and at any age-group.
