Saracens U18s Beat Exeter 31-26.


Saracens U18s beat Exeter at Allianz Park on Friday evening to win their fifth round Academy League game 31-26.

Saracens scored five tries in the win, the first being scored by Jonathan Kpoku in the eighth minute before Exeter scored their first try nine minutes later.

Dylan Taylor scored after 21 minutes to restore the hosts' lead and Manu Vunipola converted before, six minutes later, David Jimoh-Ibrahim scored a try that as converted by Charlie Watson.

By the 29th minute, Sarries were on a roll and scored their fourth try through winger Jake Morris before Watson converted to make the half-time score 26-7.

Exeter rallied in the second-half and scored their second try in the 46th minute, it was converted before Jimoh-Ibrahim scored the hosts' fifth three minutes later.

The away side scored a fourth just before the hour mark before their final converted try of the game came in the final minutes of the game to make the final score 31-26.

Next game, is our 6th and final group round game of our academy league campaign - on Saturday 17th Feb, AWAY against Bath U18. Team to follow.
