Saracens v Worcester Match Preview
Table toppers Saracens head to Worcester on Saturday for the last game of the regular season and the Men in Black are on fine form ahead of the trip. Unbeaten since their trip to Leicester back in March Saracens will be looking to finish the regular season on a high ahead of their Champions Cup Final and home Aviva Premiership semi-final.
Worcester have endured some more challenging results of late and have racked up three defeats on the trot since they overcame London Irish in March.
In head to heads Saracens have won their last four encounters with Worcester, dating back to November 2012.
Saracens will be bolstered by the return of hooker Jamie George who returns after injury. “I’m really happy to be back and I’ve got a lot of confidence that the rehab has done really well” said the hooker.
Looking ahead to the game Jamie added “They’re [Worcester] a good team, they’re a well drilled team, a very physical side. It’s always a difficult place to go down to Sixways. I’ve been very impressed with them a lot of people wrote them off early doors but actually their performances have been exceptional and they’ve had some pretty amazing victories and that’s something that we’re very aware of and we know that it’s going to be a huge game for us this weekend.”
The Big Bash Awards Night will follow the Worcester game on Saturday. The event, which takes place at Allianz Park, is free to enter for fans and tickets can be claimed by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Parking for the event is priced at £10 and can be bought here.
