Sarries Stars Selected For England and France
Eight Saracens players have been named in England’s 35-man Six Nations squad for next month’s tournament starting on February 3rd.
Academy product Nathan Earle is in line to make his debut for his country after impressing Eddie Jones in previous training camps meanwhile fellow academy graduate Nick Isiekwe will be looking to build on his previous two test appearances against Argentina and Samoa.
Owen Farrell and Alex Lozowski have been called into the backs, with the latter looking to build on an impressive autumn, in which he scored his first try for his country in a 48-14 win over Samoa in November.
In the forwards alongside Isiekwe are Maro Itoje, George Kruis, Jamie George and Mako Vunipola and they join the squad looking to defend the Six Nations title they’ve won for the previous two years.
In further recognition for Saracens, Chris Tolofua has been named in the France squad for the upcoming games, having made seven previous test appearances for Les Bleus, including three Six Nations appearances.
England will get their campaign underway with a trip to Rome to face Italy while Tolofua will be in contention for France’s hosting of Ireland at the Stade De France.
