Sarries U18 end campaign on a high

Saracens Under-18s ended their Academy League campaign on a high, defeating Bristol Bears 52-19 away from home.

The young Sarries scored eight tries in the West Country; Tom Mills going over inside five minutes before Harvey Beaton followed up moments later.

Bears responded with a score of their own but Chris Hooper, Max Bliss and Mills again built up a healthy half-time lead.

Hooker Samson Adejimicrossed early in the second period ahead of Bristol’s second of the match, and Daniel James and Hooper’s tries added gloss to the scoreline before a late home consolation.

Under-18s Forwards Coach Kelly Brown said: ”It was great to see the energy and intensity with which the boys played, there was a real desire to finish the league campaign on a high.

“All the players should be proud of the effort they have put in this season. For the U18 leaving us, we look forward to watching how their rugby progresses in the future and thank them for their dedication to Saracens.”
