Six Nations Selection: 14 Sarries involved on international stage
Liam Williams will start at full-back in Wales Men’s Grand Slam decider against Ireland on Saturday.
The Welshman has been one of the Six Nations’ star performers and will hope to have sealed the tournament title before England’s showdown with Scotland.
Should Wales lose, then it is all to play for at Twickenham with Owen Farrell hoping to inspire Eddie Jones’ side to an all-important bonus-point victory over the Scots, for whom Sean Maitland begins at 15.
Jamie George, George Kruis and Billy Vunipola maintain their places in England’s starting XV while scrum-half Ben Spencer has been called up and could make his Six Nations debut from the bench.
In the Women’s competition, Vicky Fleetwood will make her first start as one of six Saracens Women named in the England team for their match against Scotland.
The hooker-turned-flanker takes over from Saracens teammate Marlie Packer in the back row, with Packer dropping down to the bench.
Also named to start are prop Hannah Botterman, Poppy Cleall, who lines up in the second row, inside centre Zoe Harrison and full-back Sarah McKennna.
They will take on fellow Saracen, Jodie Rettie, who is named on the bench for Scotland – her fifth appearance of the Six Nations in Scotland’s matchday 23.
Rettie will be hoping her country can thwart England Women in their bid to record the Grand Slam.
