Team news: Saracens Women v Richmond Women
Head coach Alex Austerberry has made two changes to his starting XV to face fierce rivals Richmond at Allianz Park on Saturday.
Both changes are in the front row, with May Campbell and Hannah Duffy replacing Jodie Rettie and Jeani Layola at loosehead prop and hooker respectively.
Cara Wardle retains her place after impressing at centre against Worcester Valkyries last time out.
In the fixture away at Richmond at the end of September, Saracens Women were 12-5 down at half-time before turning the match around in the second half to win 30-12.
Austerberry said: “In our last encounter with Richmond they gave us a real scare, and we know we have to perform at our best and put in a full-blooded effort to ensure that we don’t let them in again.
“There is a rich history between the two clubs and an intense rivalry. These are the challenges that as a team we relish.
“Richmond are a well-coached team who we know will give us problems, so it’s up to us to solve them.”
Saracens Women have been in imperious form of late, winning their last three games without conceding a single point and scoring 151 in the process. They lie top of the Tyrrells Premier 15s, four points clear of second-placed Harlequins.
