The HAC is fantastic - Goode

Alex Goode is excited to get a last hit out at unique arena before the 2018/19 Gallagher Premiership gets up and running.

Saracens host Ospreys at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) on Thursday, with the match being shown live via a steam on the club’s Facebook page (kick-off 18H00, Saracens Official).

It is the Wolfpack’s second and final pre-season friendly and Goode is relishing a change of scenery.

“The HAC is fantastic,” he said.

“It’s always good to change the venue up a bit. I love playing there; there’s not many places that are bang in the middle of a city like London so it’s a pretty cool event.

“You always get a good turn out from people in the city and we’re all looking forward to it.”

Sarries faced Welsh province Ospreys twice in the Heineken Champions Cup last term, edging them out in a 36-34 thriller at Allianz Park before drawing back in January.

Goode added: “It’ll be a tough, tough test against Ospreys; we had two very tough battles with them last year and it won’t be any easier this time around.

“They’ve recruited well with the likes of George North and Scott Williams and it’s a game we’re not taking lightly.”
