'Tight-knit' Storm relishing A League semi-final - Dom Morris

Saracens Storm beat Bristol United 48-5 at Allianz Park on Monday night. Eight tries were scored by the hosts as they secured an ‘A’ League semi-final against Northampton Wanderers.

England U20 international Dom Morris started the match at outside-centre and speaking after the game, told of the enjoyment in playing a part in an emphatic victory:

“Yeah, we really enjoyed it.” He said, “We always train together so it was nice to get out there and play together as a team against a Bristol side that was quite young. We did very well though and I enjoyed being out there.”

The bonus-point victory was given gloss by two late tries from experienced pros Neil De Kock and Kelly Brown and Morris praised the contribution of both, saying:

“It’s people you look up to as you’re playing so it’s good to have people like that on the pitch. They led by example and I think Kelly gave a really good performance out there. It’s good to learn from people like that and to play with them is a bonus”

After finishing second in the ‘A’ League Southern Conference, Sarries will travel to face Northampton Wanderers at Franklin’s Gardens after they topped the Northern section. Morris backed Storm to produce a good display in the semi-final:

He explained, “It will be a tough game on the road in front of an away crowd but we’ve got a tight-knit group and will be well-up for it”
