Two best teams in the final - Wigglesworth
Richard Wigglesworth believes the two best teams in this season’s Aviva Premiership will contest the title on Saturday.
Saracens will battle for their first domestic success since 2016, while opponents Exeter Chiefs won the competition last season.
With preparation almost complete, Wigglesworth knows anything can happen in a final and says Sarries need to be well-equipped for it to come out on top.
"Every final gets talked up but I do genuinely think we have got the two best teams," he said.
"They are reigning champions so we know we are up against a very good team. We have had some good battles and there is not much weakness in their game.
"We are experienced enough to know that you can plan out a game all you want but it is different when you get out there.
"It is about how you adapt and hopefully we come out on the right end of it."
Sarries have used 44 players this term while many have helped prepare the squad for matches in training.
The Wolfpack’s ethos is about making memories and Wigglesworth has outlined his reasons for wanting to lift the trophy come 17H00 on Saturday.
He said: "The wins are the memories you cherish and the ones you share with the rest of the lads, because you have put in a load of effort and achieved something.
“I just want to have another good day with a good group of the lads.
“We want to win it for this group; for the boys who have come in and the boys who are leaving.”
