What Is Derby Day?
Never experienced Derby Day before? Find out what the big day is all about!
Derby Day, Saracens yearly fixture at Wembley Stadium, has become one of the biggest event in the club’s calendar.
Past fixtures have seen world record crowds packed in to the National Stadium, with attendances reaching over 80,000 in recent years.
Saracens have faced teams from Leinster to South Africa, Toulouse to Harlequins in their outings at Wembley and this year will once again take on their London rivals Harlequins.
The focus of the day is without doubt the chance to see the two biggest teams in the capital, and some of the biggest international stars, go head to head at one of the most famous sporting venues but Derby Day is not just about the rugby.
Known as a great family day out among Saracens fans and beyond Derby Day has seen the likes of Pixie Lott, The Vamps and Foxes take to the half time stage over the past fixtures. Accompanied by dancers and stunt performers from the Saracens Sport Foundation programmes the entertainment at Derby Day offers something for everyone.
This year Saracens will return to Wembley Stadium on Saturday 8th April. Details of who will be joining us there will be announced shortly.
