It’s been a busy period of player announcements for Saracens with a further four players committing themselves to the club.

Two exciting young players in Andy Christie and Elliott Obatoyinbo will be stepping up to the Senior Squad, graduating from the Senior Academy.

The duo, who both have 10 senior appearances to their name, have penned two-year deals to extend their time with the Men in Black, and have joined Joel Kpoku, Manu Vunipola and Sean Reffell in signing new deals and stepping up to the first team squad.

Another of our leading players has signed a long-term contract – Jackson Wray has been at Saracens for over a decade and has added another three years to his stay. A fantastic Saracen who leads by example and epitomises what the club is about, he is close to joining an elite group who have played 250 games for Sarries. By the end of this campaign he should have surpassed that. An amazing achievement and at 29 he still has a lot of rugby left in him.

Fan favourite Mike Rhodes is also eyeing up a landmark number of games after pledging himself to the club for another year. The South African is seven matches away from becoming part of the Saracens 100 Club and is looking to put emphasis on enjoying his rugby following a long period on the sidelines due to injury.

The four announcements come after England and British & Irish Lions quintet Owen Farrell, Maro Itoje, Jamie George, Mako Vunipola and Elliot Daly all confirmed they will be staying at Saracens.

Committed: Jackson Wray has signed a new contract and will remain a Saracen until at least 2023
