Record number of fans to make trip to Ulster
The largest travelling support in Saracens history will attend the Heineken Cup quarter-final against Ulster in Belfast on Saturday.
More than 2,500 supporters will cross the Irish Sea, intent on making Ravenhill home and cheering Mark McCall's side to victory and a place in the last four of European rugby's showpiece competition for the second season in a row.
"We have never seen anything like it," said Federico Bertilotti, of Saracens Supporters Services. "What do you call 2,500 Saracens supporters gathered in the same place? A crowd. What do you call 2,500 Saracens supporters all heading in the same direction, to Belfast, with one shared goal? An army!"
Supporters making the trip to Belfast are urged to post photographs of their journey on Twitter (@saracens) and the official Saracens Facebook page using the #makeravenhillhome hashtag, creating a last record of this unprecedented mobilisation of Saracens support.
