San Francisco 49ers train at Allianz Park
Saracens were delighted to welcome the NFL's San Francisco 49ers to Allianz Park today.
The NFC Western division side were at Allianz Park as they prepared for their showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium his Sunday.
The players went through their paces on Saracens state of the art 4G playing surface, and 49ers star Cornerback Tyrell Brown was full of praise for the Saracens surface.
"The other field we have been training on this week was muddy and difficult to train on, so just coming out here and getting to play on this great turf has definitely helped us get our footing right".
"It's a great opportunity to come out here, its a blessing and we are really enjoying it" said Brown.
Allianz Park Stadium Director Gordon Banks said "To welcome the San Francisco 49ers to Allianz Park today has been fantastic.
"It has been a joy to work with organisations like the 49ers and the NFL who have the same values as us here at Saracens.
He added; "We believe that Allianz Park is a multi-purpose facility that can host a variety of sporting events, so to welcome such a prestigious and high profile organsiation such as the San Francisco 49ers goes a long way to justifying that belief.
"We are looking forward to welcoming the NFL back to Allianz Park in the future".
