Sanderson left frustrated after narrow defeat

A frustrated Alex Sanderson was left to ask what might have been as Saracens were narrowly beaten 20-16 at Franlkin's Gardens in the LV=Cup

"I thought we did enough to win it" said Sanderson, who took charge of the side at Franklin's Gardens.

"Coming down to Franklin's Garden's and putting yourself in a great position to win the game is no mean feat, but then we lost it and gave it (the game) to them through a lack of execution and ill-discipline.

"As I said to the lads, we can hold our heads up for effort and all the heart we put into it today. It's a learning experience for them. In this competition when the stakes are raised, every mistake, every bit of ill-discipline carries a bigger ramification and a bigger consequence and we'll learn from that" he added.
