Heineken Cup journey comes to an end

Saracens Heineken Cup journey came to an end at Twickeham on Sunday with a 24-12 defeat to Toulon.

Jonny Wilkinson kicked all the points for the French side to send them through to the final in Dublin next month.

Owen Farrell kicked four penalties for the Aviva Premiership league leaders, the first of which got put Saracens into the lead but Wilkinson capitalised on a number of penalties in the opening 40 minutes to give his side a 12-9 lead at the break.

After the interval, Wilkinson added another three points but with Danie Roussow in the sin bin for a high tackle, the Sarries playmaker put them back to within three points.

But two further penalties and a drop-goal from Wilkinson secured the victory for the French side.
