Saracens 'Gathering' a 'great feeling' – De Kock
Saracens fans will be marching down to the home of English Rugby this Saturday to provide a memorable welcome for their side as they prepare for to take on Clermont Auvergne in the semi-finals of the Heineken Cup.
Fans going to the game are invited to the West Car Park at Twickenham Stadium from 1pm for a bite to eat and a few drinks, some live music and a chat with some of the non-playing Saracens players.
This will be followed by a march into the stadium to give the squad a welcome to remember ahead of the European clash, and it is something that two time Heineken Cup semi-finalist with the club Neil de Kock says is “great feeling for the players”.
“To get off the bus and having the supporters there waiting for us, cheering us in to the stadium is a great feeling, and hopefully we can give them something to celebrate on Saturday afternoon” said the veteran halfback.
He added; “We’ve been in a couple of semi-finals; we lost narrowly to Munster in 2008, and had a disappointing defeat last year, but the supporters keep coming, and keep supporting us, and hopefully they’ll come in great numbers on Saturday”.
