Saracens name team to face Bath

Saracens and England full-back Alex Goode starts his first game of the season when Bath visit Allianz Park this Sunday, kick-off is 2pm.

Fresh from their second successive bonus point win last weekend, Director of Rugby Mark McCall explains how Saracens will have to be at their best if they are to record their third win of the season.

“Bath have enjoyed a good start to the season with two wins from their opening two games against Newcastle Falcons and Leicester Tigers. During the summer they added to what was already a very strong squad and they have a very experienced coaching team, so we will have to be at our best”.

“We have also won both our opening games and last week against Gloucester, we were patient and we did the right things at the right times and it was a pleasing performance, but our aim is to continue to improve each week”.

Mako Vunipola and Schalk Brits make their first starts of the season, whilst George Kruis comes into the team replacing Alastair Hargreaves who drops to the bench. Scotland captain Kelly Brown and scrum-half Neil De Kock have been named on the bench, both returning from injury.
